What this guide covers
The products enterprises evaluate to connect agents across clouds, SaaS platforms and internal frameworks: collaboration layers, event meshes, registries and gateways, and agent runtimes. It does not cover single-agent assistants or general AI model selection.
How we research
We read each vendor's product pages, documentation and pricing pages, and record the URL beside each fact. Where a vendor does not publish a detail, we write "Not published" or "Not confirmed" rather than estimate. Prices are list prices as shown in September 2026 and may change; check the linked source before purchase.
How we score

Mesh fit score (editorial assessment, 0-5). Measures fit for connecting and coordinating agents across vendors. It is not a measure of overall product quality: gateways and runtimes score lower here because they solve a different layer of the problem and are usually deployed alongside a collaboration layer.
Each criterion is rated 0 to 5 by the editorial team, then weighted to give the mesh fit score. The score measures fit for one job, connecting and coordinating agents across vendors. Products built for other layers, such as gateways and runtimes, score lower on this rubric even when they are strong at their own job.
Review schedule and corrections
Vendor profiles show their review date. We re-check prices and protocol support when vendors announce changes. To report an error, use the contact page; include the page and the source that shows the correct information.
