• Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider records technical data for each request, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page and time. These logs are used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site.
• Analytics: we do not run third-party analytics or tracking scripts on this site. Our hosting provider may produce aggregate traffic statistics from server logs.
• Contact messages: the contact form has no backend and stores nothing on our servers. It opens your own email program with a prefilled message. If you send that email, we receive your email address, name if given, and the content of your message.
• Browser storage: the RFP checklist saves your checkbox progress in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.

We use server logs to keep the site available and secure, and email messages to reply to you, correct the guide, or follow up on vendor updates. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

The guide links to vendor websites, documentation and sources. Some outbound links to vendors, including links to BAND, carry referral parameters that tell the destination site the visit came from Distributed AI Agents. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for operation and security, in line with our hosting provider's retention settings. Emails are kept as long as needed to handle the request and for reasonable record keeping, then deleted.
