Google Gemini Enterprise: the employee agent hub on Google Cloud
Overview
Gemini Enterprise is employee-facing: a single place for staff to use and share agents. Google's developer platform, now branded Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (formerly Vertex AI), and the Agent Development Kit (ADK) are the building tools.
How it coordinates agents
Agents run inside Gemini Enterprise and reach enterprise data through connectors. External agents join through A2A registration, which is in Preview and requires an agent you host yourself that is A2A v0.3-compatible (v1.0.0 and later via compatibility packages). Registered agents can be imported from Agent Registry.
Governance
Model Armor; Standard and Plus add VPC Service Controls, CMEK, Access Transparency, data residency, HIPAA and FedRAMP High support, centralized agent permissions and audit logs. Google notes that Model Armor console settings "don't automatically protect A2A agents".
Pricing
Business from $21 per seat per month (up to 300 seats); Standard and Plus from $30 per seat per month; a pay-as-you-go option with no seat fee; Frontline as an add-on; 30-day free trials. Third-party agents require Standard or Plus.
